Relieve Discomfort and Make Every Day Pain-Free
Lipedema, a condition that causes irregular accumulation of fat in the legs, is often misdiagnosed and misunderstood. Extremely resistant to diet and exercise, it can be very painful. Lipedema affects almost 11% of the female population. The cause of Lipedema is unknown, but some studies suggest it’s genetic. Because it primarily occurs in women, it may also be related to estrogen and progesterone. Before AirSculpt® fat removal was developed, liposuction was one of the only long-term treatments for Lipedema.
Today, we use the patented AirSculpt® procedure to help patients from around the world suffering from Lipedema. Patients are pleased with their results and report they are permanent as long as there’s no new weight gain.
The AirSculpt® procedure removes fat and sculpts areas of the body to create a more pleasing and well-proportioned body shape. This is essential in treating Lipedema since the condition can create column-like, progressive accumulations of leg fat down to the ankles. Our treatment allows for as much lymphatic drainage as possible while giving patients more balanced proportions. We typically treat inner thighs, knees, calves, ankles (if necessary), and rear thighs to remove as much fat as possible and help legs return to a size proportional to the upper body.
Results begin to take effect about a month after an AirSculpt®, with legs getting progressively smaller over the next six months. We believe the key to AirSculpt® success is the procedure’s extremely gentle motion and size of the cannula used to remove the fat. Together, they help preserve as much precious lymphatic tissue as possible. Although AirSculpt® is not curative, it can improve mobility, improve functionality for daily living and reduce pain to improve quality of life.
What Is AirSculpt®?
AirSculpt® is patented, precision-engineered technology only available at Elite Body Sculpture. It removes unwanted fat through a freckle-sized hole cell by cell with no needle, no scalpel, and no stitches—all while you’re awake. This revolutionary technology also tightens your skin while it removes your fat, providing dramatic, smooth, and natural results.
Why was AirSculpt created?
Dr. Aaron Rollins created AirSculpt because, after seeing just how positively impactful well-performed body contouring could truly be, he developed a passion for it. Despite seeing how it changed lives, he found the existing technology either barbaric or ineffective, so he created AirSculpt which is minimally invasive yet provides dramatic, permanent results.
Am I a good candidate for AirSculpt®?
Anyone over 18 who has unwanted areas of stubborn fat is a perfect candidate for AirSculpt®. We like to say “If you can pinch it, we can take it” because AirSculpt® plucks out fat that doesn’t respond to diet and exercise—whether it be a tablespoon or a gallon—all with no needles, no scalpel, and no stitches.
How is AirSculpt® different from other fat removal services?
AirSculpt® is so superior that the real question is: How is it similar? It’s not. AirSculpt® is by far the best technology on the market. There’s simply no comparison. We’re so certain of AirSculpt’s superiority that we started the #AirSculptChallenge, where we promise anyone who has had a past body contouring procedure that we will improve upon it—dramatically!
What can I expect during my procedure?
AirSculpt® is designed to be the most pleasant medical experience you’ve ever had. You’re not sick, so why should you suffer? We give you a luxury spa experience, letting you pick your own music and bring a friend or family member to chat.
How long does it take to recover?
Because AirSculpt® is minimally invasive, recovery is much quicker than with traditional liposuction. In fact, most patients are back to their normal activities in 24-48 hours. After the procedure, there may be some minor swelling, which is normal. To address this, a compression garment is worn under clothing for about 14 days to help ensure optimal results.
How much does the procedure cost?
Prices for each procedure vary depending on body size and the area treated. Please contact one of our offices to speak with a helpful Patient Care Consultant and book a free consultation that includes discussing cost.
